HHI Series: Leaner Energy - Achieving Reductions in Energy Use and Cost Savings with ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager

Session Description

Join Clark Reed, U.S. EPA’s National Program Manager for Health Care, to get an understanding of how EPA’s ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager tool can help provide a foundation for your energy management program. Since you can’t manage what you don’t measure, Portfolio Manager provides an online tool to track energy and water consumption, as well as greenhouse gas emissions, but that’s not all. Hospitals can set energy reduction baselines and targets in Portfolio Manager, and integrate the key performance metrics into a strategic management plan. Portfolio Manager also makes it easy to produce custom reports and share data. And maybe you’ll be able to join the top 25% of energy-efficient buildings nationwide and apply for ENERGY STAR certification.
