Hermine Levey Weston, RN, MBA, Member Engagement Manager, Practice Greenhealth

Hermine Levey Weston, RN, MBA is Member Engagement Manager at Practice Greenhealth where she manages member accounts by providing support and technical expertise related to environmental and sustainability programs in health care settings. She is a health care professional with over 25 years of experience in health care quality management. Prior to joining the Practice Greenhealth team she was employed by the Shriners Hospital for Children in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Hermine developed the sustainability framework for improvement at this hospital and consulted with other community hospitals and nursing homes in Western Massachusetts regarding health care sustainability. For these efforts she was recognized as a Nurse Luminary whose members shine a light on environmental challenges in the diverse settings where they live and work. Hermine applied her healthcare experience while earning a Green MBA from Antioch University New England.


Kyle Tafuri, Senior sustainability Advisor, Hackensack University Medical Center

Kyle Tafuri, leads the development and management of corporate Sustainability for the health network and ensures they are creating a healthier environment for patients, team members and the community. Kyle has been heading Sustainability at Hackensack UMC since 2012. Hackensack UMC has been recognized by Practice Greenhealth three years in a row (2014, 2015, 2016) as a Top 25 Green Hospital. Kyle sits on a number of industry councils and advisory boards including, Health Care Without Harm Climate Council, the Safer Chemicals Market Transformation Group, the Healthier Foods Market Transformation Group and others. Kyle has been named one of the 30 under 30 people to watch in sustainable business by GreenBiz Group, a leading media and events company in corporate sustainability. Kyle received his Masters in Sustainability Studies from Ramapo College in New Jersey and his Bachelors in Science of Business Administration from Boston University.
