Colleen Groll has led programming and engagement across Seattle Children's for energy, water and waste reduction, sustainable purchasing, and healthy food and sourcing since 2013. Groll had a career as a nurse practitioner in primary care and oncology prior to making the transition into sustainability. She holds a master’s in nursing from Simmons College and is a certified sustainable building advisor and LEED AP BD&C.

Michael Shelton has worked at Seattle Children’s for 14 years and in his current role for four years. He works closely with the sustainability and sourcing departments to expand their purchasing of local, organic, non-GMO products and antibiotic-free meats.

Sister Mary Ellen Leciejewski is an Adrian Dominican sister. At Dignity Health, she is responsible for overseeing systemwide sustainability initiatives and corporate social responsibility programs.

Emma Eichelman joined Inova in February 2018 in a newly created role that focuses on alternative transportation initiatives for employees across the health system. Eichelman graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a bachelor’s of science in earth, society, and environmental sustainability.
