HHI Series: The Power of Engaged Leadership

Session Description

It’s no coincidence that the most successful sustainability initiatives have leadership engagement and support. The Engaged Leadership Challenge is the foundation for the other interventions. Engaged Leaders have taken the time to create a firm structure to support the ongoing work. Engaged Leadership ensures alignment with the strategic plan, have identified an individual to lead sustainability efforts, have set measurable goals and associated teams are in place for single and multi-facility systems.

Engaged Leadership can transform grass-roots and departmental initiatives to a formal commitment to environmental stewardship and an authentic understanding of its connectivity to mission, ethics, community, wellness, fiscal responsibility and staff engagement.

Join this call to learn more about the Engaged Leadership Challenge, to review the qualitative measures associated with it and see real examples of each measure.
