HHI Series: Leaner Energy - Tips to Reduce Energy Use by 10% from Baseline

Session Description

The way hospitals are designed and operated have a lot to do with how much energy they consume. Join experts in both design and operation in learning a few tips and tricks to reduce energy consumption in hospitals by 10 percent or more. Kim Shinn and Tim Peglow worked together as two of the co-authors of the Advanced Energy Design Guide for Large Hospitals, and will share lessons learned from their combined over 70 years of experience in designing and operating hospitals. These are proven, practical, no-nonsense, economical ways to save money and energy, as well as increase patient satisfaction and quality scores.

Learning Objectives
