CM14F5-Engaged Leadership and the HHI Leadership Challenge

Session Description

The Healthier Hospitals Initiative's Engaged Leadership Challenge can be used as more that a static "check the boxes" reporting framework. It can effectively be employed as a tool to motivate ongoing engagement of leaders and staff at all levels, accelerating progress toward a truly embedded culture of sustainability with a hospital organization. Come to this session to hear from Beaumont Health System in Royal Oak and University Hospitals in Cleveland about our creative strategies to leverage the HHI's Engaged Leadership Challenge, and be part of the conversation by adding your own ideas and experiences to the dialogue. Discussion will look into the Affordable Care Act and the Community Health Needs Assessment and how, through Leadership Engagement, this new law can be supported by HHI to improve health outcomes. You will walk away from this discussion with new ideas and energy to bring to leadership engagement efforts within your own organizations.
